BENTELER Automotive Campinas receives award from Honda

Salzburg/Campinas, August 27, 2020. On July 29, 2020, Honda Brazil invited to the presentation of the "Supplier Awards 2019" at its headquarters in Sumaré-SP, Brazil. A total of 17 suppliers received awards. Among them was the BENTELER Automotive plant Campinas. Mauricio Nantes, Executive Vice President BENTELER Automotive Mercosur & South Africa accepted the award for excellence in the "Honda Way" program. The aim of the program is to develop techniques that limit the variability of the production process and thus improve the efficiency, quality and safety of the products.

Award strengthens long-standing partnership

In Campinas, BENTELER has been producing rear axles for the customer for more than a decade. The plant delivers around 120,000 units to Honda every year. "This award strengthens the partnership and cooperation with our customer Honda. It is also proof of the great commitment of the entire team," says Daniel Fahl, Plant Director in Campinas.
