At our tube welding plant in Paderborn, the future of logistics is already here.
On arrival, trucks drive through a self-check-in system, similar to those found in airports. From there, an app assigns a parking position and guides the driver around the factory premises. Loading is also supported by the latest scanner technology.
As a result, the shipping documents are already waiting at the self-check-out terminal upon departure. Afterwards, a track-&-trace system accompanies the drivers to our customers. This ensures shipment tracking – and thus punctual delivery.
