But we're not resting on our laurels. In our materials laboratory in Paderborn, we constantly investigate the properties and processing characteristics of metals, developing new high-strength steels ourselves. And in both Paderborn and our Raufoss plant, we analyze the potential use of aluminum for applications, developing our own alloys. This enables us to offer you the optimum material with properties tailored exactly to your needs, even if it didn't exist previously.
In addition, you benefit from our knowledge and expertise regarding optimal integration of our products into the overall vehicle. We also know the manufacturing processes like the back of our hand. This allows us to define exactly which properties a material should have for optimal treatment in our own manufacturing processes.
