How can you go from hot to cold and
get stronger at the same time?
With our special thermoforming technique.
We use it to produce stronger, lighter B pillars for you. The blanks are heated to 920° C in the hot-forming oven and then rapidly cooled in the press at the same time as being formed. This enables us to use thinner metal without sacrificing strength. Just one of the innovative ways that we use our competence in metals to help our customers contribute to more sustainable mobility solutions.
