TUBES FOR
INDUSTRY
APPLICATIONS
Safety, sustainability, stability, and weight reduction: These are key factors in the industry and distribution business area.
Tube solutions
tailored to your needs
In hydraulics and precision engineering, for example, factors such as tight dimensional tolerances, pressure resistance, consistent processing quality, and corrosion protection are all critical.
We offer specific solutions for a wide range of applications with diverse and specific requirements: From heating pipes, sprinkler systems or smoke extraction systems in building technology to hydraulic line pipes for agricultural machinery, construction machinery, or in infrastructure and crane construction. Our seamless and welded quality steel tubes provide ideal properties for optimal further processing. And thanks to modern production methods and value-based supplier relationships, they help you meet your sustainability goals.
Your benefits
Whatever your industry, whatever your needs, our quality steel and steel tube products offer you a wide range of benefits: Low CO₂ values verifiably certified for Scopes 1 to 3 from our CliMore® range; cost-effective machining with our SMARTCUT® free cutting steel tubes; corrosion resistance with ZISTA® and materials that offer lightweight construction.
And to make sure you get the most out of our products, we support you with advanced co-engineering from the concept, through simulation, testing and validation through to series production.
CAN YOU GET TAILORED
SOLUTIONS UNDER ONE ROOF,
WITHOUT COSTS GOING THROUGH IT?
With co-engineering, you can.
As a development partner, we help you manufacture even better products more cost-effectively by paying attention to high reproducibility, low distortion and ideal material characteristics. All under one roof.
Steel supply to customers
At our electric steel mill in Lingen, we have been producing sustainable, high-quality steel from 100% scrap since 1974. Every hour, the weight of scrap melted is equal to the weight of 60 cars. This scrap steel is recycled in our electric arc furnace and continuously cast into round, square and rectangular billets as well as slabs.
We supply not only our own tube mills, but also external customers who use our steel to manufacture special profiles, medium-wide strip, forged products, tubes or wire, for example.
In addition to more than 500 standard steel grades in accordance with the relevant standards (DIN, EN, ASTM, API, etc.), we also manufacture according to industry- and customer-specific regulations. In total, the Lingen steel mill has around 1,600 steel grades in its production program, with about 110 steel grades being our own developments.
Our steel grades range from unalloyed to alloyed steels with an alloy content of up to 15%. In collaboration with our development department, we can implement our customers' specific requirements and develop new, customised products for them.
Hydraulics
High pressure loads, high mechanical stress? No problem for our seamless and welded steel tubes. They impress with precise geometry and optimal material properties. Plus, the necessary coatings protect them perfectly against corrosion when needed.
In stationary or mobile hydraulics, our seamless cold-drawn hydraulic line tubes (HPL), hydraulic cylinder tubes (HPZ/HP), and hydraulic piston tubes (HPK) offer high reliability and have been in use for decades. As custom solutions, they withstand the most extreme conditions such as heat, cold, stone impact, heavy loads, dirt and aggressive environmental conditions. That makes them all a real success.
Construction
Whether it’s for machine and plant construction, the manufacture of turned parts or in wind turbines: our expert engineering team works continuously to develop the optimum solution – individually for every customer.
That's how, thanks to their optimum combination of geometry, machinability and strength, our steel tubes perform heavy-duty work in many different industrial sectors. It’s good to know that our seamless and welded steel tubes, manufactured in our own steel mill, are available in all common standards and steel grades that weld particularly well. Flexibly and even in small quantities and in a wide range of dimensions.
And on top of it all, our customers also benefit from our expertise in material development.
House and building technology
Heating pipes with ZISTA coating, tubes for fire protection systems, and enamelable pipes for domestic water tanks. For decades, renowned industry leaders have relied on the excellent processing characteristics of our tubes with their outstanding surface quality. It's also because our pipes exhibit consistent processing properties without fluctuations. Plus, they excel with significantly better quality features than those required by the applicable pipe standards.
