Our target
Steel and steel tubes from BENTELER will be green by 2045! Not literally, of course. But as a global group, we want to make our contribution to the green transformation of an energy-intensive industry. This requires ambitious goals and people who pursue them with passion. Procurement and production play a strategic role in reducing the carbon footprint in tube production. Key measures: Electricity from renewable energies, electrification of plants or use of green hydrogen as an energy source and CO₂-neutral primary material for our welded tubes.

Certified emission

Products from our CliMore® range are supplied with certified product-related emission certificates. The PCF calculation tool we use to determine product-related CO2 emissions takes all significant emissions into account in accordance with ISO14067 and has been certified by the company GUTcert. The certification covers the product life cycle from production to the factory gate.
For our customers, that means precise and consistent CO2 calculations that they can rely on. In this way, we increase transparency for our customers and support them in achieving their own sustainability goals.
