Our subsidiary HOLON will be the first OEM for autonomous movers with the standards and scaling potential we know from the automotive industry: Leading in safety, passenger comfort and production quality. With its platform technology, its vehicle expertise and its strong partner network, HOLON’s goal is to redefine passenger transport – in both the public and private sectors.
In doing so, HOLON draws upon BENTELER’s comprehensive know-how in the automotive sector, in industrialization and in the implementation of new e-mobility technologies.
The HOLON brand emerged from the former BENTELER EV Systems business unit at the end of 2022.
The HOLON Mover
Autonomous movers are an essential part of tomorrow's mobility. We are setting ambitious goals with our vehicle: To demonstrate that emission-free, safe, comfortable and inclusive passenger transportation is possible.
The HOLON Mover travels at a maximum speed of 60 kilometers per hour and can accommodate up to 15 passengers. Areas of application are on-demand services such as ridepooling and ridehailing, but also normal scheduled services.
The vehicle is barrier free, offering an automated ramp, secured wheelchair space, and auditory and visual assistance for passengers. The design comes from renowned design company Pininfarina and the autonomous driving technology from the Intel subsidiary Mobileye. Our expertise gained from the well-known BENTELER Electric Drive System (BEDS) has been incorporated into the development of the vehicle.
